MKFL charges a flat fee for all initial consultations, with payment due in advance of the consultation. Initial consultations are substantive and comprehensive. It includes a robust examination of your situation, a legal analysis and opinion of your next steps, and a case strategy.
If you are in need of local counsel in any jurisdiction, Melissa will attempt to connect you with competent lawyers who may be able to help you with the local family laws. If you are currently working with local counsel, please consider including them in your consultation with MKFL. Melissa is only permitted to advise on the local laws in jurisdictions where she is licensed to practice law.
